This is the first quilt where I really involved the recipient in the process. Luckily, that recipient was the lovely and artistic Molly. The two of us had so much fun picking out the vibrant colors she wanted in her quilt, settling on lime greens and bight blues:
The pattern itself was directly from a great tutorial from Nancy Mahoney called “Shadow Play“.
The final product is a trippy and vibrant quilt (if you don’t see the circles, cross your eyes a bit like you’re doing a Magic Eye):
