When it comes to work, it’s all about the people. We spend most of our waking hours in an office, and being inspired by the people around us makes all the difference. Turns out, it’s a pretty rare thing to find. A handful of coworkers in San Francisco became like my family – a fact I hadn’t fully appreciated until I stepped into a new office and started from scratch. Vicky was at the core of that family – a mentor, friend and confidant. She supported me, cried in frustration with me, protected me, challenged me, believed in me and made me laugh daily. That’s not an easy thing to replace.
This quilt arrived at her doorstep the week after she gave birth to beautiful Ella. It’s inspired by this beautiful Sugar Snow quilt by Freshly Pieced.
