This quilt was a fun experiment, for my fun cousin Kate.

I designed each of the “puddle” squares first in parchment paper with hand-drawn circles. From there, I cut the squares into four quadrants, and top-stitched each fabric onto muslin. The four quadrants were then reunited and finally the seams were covered by grey bias-strips, which were appliquéd on top of the square.
