Julia is always full of joy – laughing, smiling, bringing positivity to each situation. But having a baby brought her to a whole other level of happiness. It was amazing to watch – when she talked about being pregnant, she exuded buoyancy and elation.
I wanted to make something as exuberant for her baby, who would come into the world surrounded by so much joy. The most joyous pattern I know is the wonky maverick star – so that’s what I made for the beautiful Amelie:
